Our initial rare coin dealership was founded in Michigan in 1998, and we have since moved to Orange County, California, opening our flagship retail store and headquarters in Costa Mesa, California in October 2015. We are a member dealer of Certified Coin Exchange, which is the largest and most respected national dealer organiztion and trading platform. We are also Authorized PCGS and NGC dealers.

Orange County Rare Coin & Bullion is a leader in the buying, selling and appraisal of collectible coins, currency, precious metals and more. We offer free, no obligation appraisals and offers on collections, accumulations, and even individual items. In addition to being a full service coin dealership, we offer numismatic consulting services, such as auction representation, professional coin photography, variety attributions, authentication services, written evaluations, and expert witness services to bank trust departments, attorneys and law enforcement.

Founder and president, Dennis Tarrant, has over 30 years of numismatic experience, including being a professional researcher and cataloger for Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas. He has served as an expert witness in multi-million dollar rare coin court cases, and has been hired repeatedly over the past 20 years to appraise collections and estates for financial institutions and legal professionals. He is a member of many national numismatic organizations, including the ANA, ILNA, CSNS, MSNS and CSNA.
